This motor vehicle accident is a three-car accident. As Defendant approached an intersection, the intersection had flashing signal lights, flashing red for the North/South lanes and flashing yellow for the East/West lanes. Defendant failed to stop for the flashing red signal lights and proceeded into the intersection. Defendant was cited for failure to stop at a flashing red signal light. As a result of the accident Plaintiff suffered bodily injuries and experience loss of wages. Plaintiff received medical treatment for the injuries sustained in the accident. After negotiation with the insurance companies, the case was settled before a court case was filed
Defendant failed to keep a proper lookout and failed to see a stationary pedestrian, at a location at a walking station where Defendant is expected to perceive the presence of pedestrians. As such, the law imposes a duty on the Defendant to look out for pedestrians and to avoid striking them. Plaintiff suffered bodily injury, loss of earnings, and loss of ability to earn money. After negotiations with the insurance company a court case was filed. Negotiations continued, along with mediation, and the case was settled before going to trial.
Young female was assaulted at a night club by a deranged underaged patron resulting in forehead scarring and emotional damages. The nightclub was liable for damage caused to the Plaintiff. Lawsuit was filed against the nightclub, case settled before trial for a confidential amount.
